Hi Mohit Jain,
Your admission to MICA depends on your performance in the MICAT and subsequently on your performance in the GE-PI round. It is then up to the interview panels discretion whether to consider your scores or not. There is no separate weightage allotted to them per se.

After completing diploma in Electronics and Communication engineering, you may opt for lateral B.Tech course in which you can directly enter into the second year. Degree course will open more opportunities for you.
* To be eligible, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
* Below is the list of lateral B.Tech colleges :
-MERI College of Engineering and Technology
-Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad
-Janeta Subash Institute of Techn
