You need to have a bachelor's degree (3-year course) or equivalent with minimum 50% & above marks in any discipline recognised by any Indian University / AICTE as eligible for post-graduate studies.
You can apply while you are in your final year of graduation. If you do get through the admission test, you will be given provisional admission on the condition that you provide your mark sheet and a certificate of passing by a certain date.

Yes, there are very good changes that you will get a GD/PI call for PGDM Retail Management.
The placements of PGDM Retail Management are many a times clubbed with that of PGDM General (Marketing) students, with no difference in offered CTC (salary), only may be a few companies might differentiate a little.
So on a general note, you can expect a CTC of 5.5 according to past year figures, this year there is an improvement, but still official figures are not out.
But when you are taking admission into a sectoral course, please don't look at the salary etc. Look at your passion, look at your interest. Retail is the booming sector of India, and very few colleges are offering PGDM in it. BIMTECH is one among the top ones in Retail Management program. That will help you more in your decision. But I repeat, don't think about stuff like average salary. I know salary is very important, but it shouldn't be the prime factor in your decision making process.

Anil, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. There is also an intermediate path in games design and development. Wish you the best for your career.
