You can do M.Tech after B.Tech EEE by appearing in GATE examination in area of specialization of your choice. Based on market trends, you may evaluate doing M.Tech in embedded systems or power. You can also opt for MBA degree also.

I can tell you about Sri Balaji Society where there are four institutes i.e BIIB, BIMHRD, BIIM and BITM. The placement of these institutes are centralised. Also, it has very strict rules in terms of attendance and backlogs
Even if you have a single backlog and attendance below 90%, you won't be allowed to sit for placement. The teaching faculties are well experienced so you don't need to worry about academics.
