The reason is that most of the universities offer programs in the areas of B.Sc in Biological Sciences, Environmental Science, or in any other related discipline which accepts Biology as a subject. Other courses that may not be strictly science-based courses can also be qualified through the General Test. No, the cut-off for ASRB ICAR NET is not uniform for every subject. The cut-off marks differ from one subject to the other considering several factors. For example, it varies because of how candidates performed and the severity level in the exam. Cut-offs would vastly differ between Agronomy and Plant Pathology, Animal Science, etc. So the candidates must check the published cut-off marks by ASRB pertaining to their subjects after completion of every cycle of the exams, to understand whether they get qualified or not.
