Hi,
In order to pursue MS in US, you have to meet the following requirements:
1) Have a 4 year degree or equivalent
2) GRE Exam: minimum 500 in each section
3) TOEFL IBt or IELTS with a minimum score of 90 in the TOEFL or 7 in IELTS.
4) Statement of Purpose
5) Letters of Recommendations(Academic or Professional
Some of the best universities for Ms are Stanford, CIT, University of California-Berkeley, John Hopkins University and many more.

If by opportunities you are referring to the jobs, well there is limited scope to gain great and quality options after just pursuing a Graduate degree. If you wish to increase your scope , it is advised to ,look for either some short term value add courses or Masters courses depending on your interest and career aspirations.
In short term courses you can look for certifications like CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, Oracle etc depending as to which segment you are keen to take up a career, and in case you are keen to go for the Masters, you may either take up MCA if you are keen to go for the technical education and develop a car
