There are several factors that need to be considered before choosing a particular stream after Class 10. This is because the chosen stream would determine which path your career would take and a wrong decision not taken in accordance with a student’s personal interests and strengths must be avoided.
The two main factors that should be taken into note by students while choosing a stream are:
Aptitude of the student
Personal Interests
The three main streams that can be pursued after Class 10 are:
Commerce- Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics, Informatics Practices, English
Courses that you can pursue- B.COM, BBA, BAF, BBM, B.A Economics, BCA
Science- Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Computer Science
Courses that you can pursue- B.E/B.TECH, B.SC CS/IT, BCA
Arts/Humanities- History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, English, Hindi, Sanskrit
Courses that you can pursue- B.A (any subject specialization), BSW.
You can analyze the various opportunities available and select the right path based on your personal criteria which should include:
*The interest and aptitude towards the subject
*Interest to get a job
*The future Demand for the particular program
*As per your interest, you can pick CA irrespective of the stream in class X. Maths is not compulsory.
So you can go ahead because students can join a CA program after (10+2) or graduation. There is no restriction in terms of prior stream, age or percentage secured.

I think rather you must be misunderstood with your entrance exams.
OR as you have completed 12th and scored low in JEE mains means you want to go for Undergraduate course and then as you have scored low you will opt for a University granted college and then you will prepare for GATE to pursue your M.Tech from IIT's
Theres no any need to join for any coaching institute for GATE peparation they will help you study the same thing that you have studied in Engineering,
Rather,Study your Engineering seriously take up exams seriously,Revise the concepts during the semister holidays,and try to solve as maximum no of questions as you can,YES you can then opt for GATE coaching institutes for MOCK Test Series.
Though, If you want to join a coaching institute for GATE you can join it at the end of your second year.
