NSAD admits students who demonstrate an interest in the study of their selected field and the potential to be successful. All admissions decisions are made based on a holistic review of each applicant. In order to be eligible to matriculate into Newschool of Architecture and DesignNSAD, all applicants must have earned a high school diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED).
Students submit an online application at www.newschoolarch.edu form and then must supplement that with the documents listed below. Enrollment specialists conduct informational phone interviews with all students who submit an online application. If the student is able to visit NSAD, in-person informational interviews are encouraged.
