Hi Jagan,
As per the eligibility criteria mentioned on their website, you are eligible as it says you need to be a graduate from a recognized university. Since it doesn't mention the discipline of graduation, I assume you can apply for the course. Yet, it will be a good idea if you contact the institute directly for a clear information.

Hi Ram,
It's a bit difficult to get CSE at any of the campuses of BITS at the score you have mentioned. But, you can try for other engineering courses at any of the campuses of BITS Pilani. You can have a look at this link for getting more clarity on the cutoff scores: http://bitsadmission.com/cutoffscores2017.aspx
Also, your child can do one thing- He/she can take admission in Integrated First Degree Course at Pilani campus, and if your ward performs well in the semester examination and brings more than 8.5 CGPA, he/she can transfer into CSE course.
Best wishes.

You have still many options left. Though you need to compromise a lot with these marks. A drop is something will take a one year but lend you some good options. Though ask yourself whether you can handle that pressure. Moreover, try for private universities or autonomous institutes. Try this also:

The most important thing to qualify the MA Entrance is that your vocabulary and grammar should be good. Read English newspapers every day and read all the books of English which you already have read in your graduation period.

Well, if your general rank is 96500 then you won't be getting any government college. You should instead go for private colleges with a desirable branch.

Bhupender,
As you mention your rank is 13798 in IPUCET 2018,
so according to the study of last years cut-offs list, I think you are not able to qualify in cut-offs list of any college because colleges have high cutoff list for Outside Delhi students.
But, you still have hopes, every year IPU will go for the spot round after the 3rd cut-off list.
So, do appear in spot round, if you appear in spot round, then you have high chances for admission in IPU.
Don't lose hope, appear in spot round.
That's my suggestion to you.

From my opinion, B.Tech is having lots of scope Now a days. If you gi for B.Tech then you can do a job or you can start your own business. But in B.Sc, there are very few jobs. Government job vacancies are less in Science fields. So, you have to go for B.Tech. Best if luck for your future and if there's any query, feel free to ask.
