In the second paper about 40 MCQs had to be answered in 1 hour (negative marking was there). The difficulty level was way higher than what comes in WBJEE.
The difficulty of question papers in competitive exams doesn't matter much. What matters is how you were able to perform in that paper than the rest of the other competitors. Practice is the key.

There are a lot of streams that you can go for. Opt only in which you are interested. You can go for graduation with Hons in physics, chemistry, Maths, computer engineering, etc. You can pursue engineering in any field or you can go for hotel management, designing, programming in any field. Mechanical engineers are included in the job shortage list, so of you pursue youth Masters from a good university with good grades you will have a chance, Australia is very competitive and you being and international student must work extra hard, network with people, build your profile, get into a good internship position etc. for job opportunities.

It is totally depended upon your caliber and career plans. B.Sc. Geography has plenty of job opportunities in rural development, NGOs, Cooperative bank, Water conservation officer, Town planner, Climate change analyst, Cartographer and so on. While, B.Sc. Maths you can get job opportunities in any Banks, BPO/KPO, Government/private school teacher, IT programmer. Think twice and make right decision. All the Best for your future.

Yes, you get admission through JEE Mains paper 2.
Previous year (2k17) my friend got 219 marks in JEE Mains Paper 2 and 81% in 12th from CBSE board and he belong to OBC category, his gen Rank-9243 and OBC rank-3800, still he didn't get any college. So I think for a general candidate score must be above than 270 if board marks are not included.
