Soumita, There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. you can get into production, whether live or animated. You can be a story writer who writes for live and animated screens or even roll the story into a video/ pc game. you can be a script writer who would stop at nothing to give wonderful scene setups to bring the story to life. you could be an artist who designs characters or who storyboards the film for live or animated performance. you can also double up as a voice over artist who gives his/ her voice to the characters or dub for movie stars, or even be a radio star. you can alternatively look at web for a web of careers in web design, online marketing, search engine optimization, content writing, social media promoting. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world & hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. M.Com. or Master of Commerce is a postgraduate academic degree which is awarded after successful completion of a two years program.
The Master degree course covers the study of principles of accounting, economic theory, micro and macroeconomics, money and banking
systems, knowledge about business, trade and its characteristics and policies involved, etc.
Master of Commerce Eligibility
- The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing M.Com. Degree is having graduation degree in Commerce stream.
- However, as an alternative criterion, many universities accept graduation degree with Honours in Economics or Business/Management Studies for admission to their M.Com degree course.
- Some of the very reputed universities and institutes demand a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course and some also conduct entrance examination to get admission to their M.Com. Degree course.
Selection to the degree course in colleges is based on marks secured in the final merit i.e. total marks aggregated in the final exams of graduation and the entrance exam.
