AP ECET 2023 counselling is being conducted by the Department of Technical Education and Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).  The Central University of Karnataka has adopted NEP-2020. For BTech, CUK is accepting both CUET-UG and JEE scores. For the courses BTech in Electronics and Communication and BTech in Electrical Engineering, 50% of seats will be filled on merit in the NTA-CUET (UG)-2023. The remaining 50% of the seats will be filled on the basis of performance in JEE–Main Exam (2023) who are eligible for writing JEE–Advanced 2022.

CUET results are used to determine admission to UG courses. Students may only register on the CUK-Samarth UG admission portal if they have legitimate test results. Following the release of the CUET results, students must register on the site for university admissions. The grievances that are accepted are then listed together with the qualified pupils. The names of all the students who are eligible for admission are then listed on a provisional selection list. Should any seats remain unoccupied, a second list will be made public. Students who pay the first-semester tuition can also guarantee their places.

The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral-level programmes such as BTech, MSc, M.Tech and PhD across various specialisations. MIT Chennai admissions for M.Tech are based on national-level entrance tests such as TANCET/ GATE, followed by TANCET Counselling. For admission to BTech, students need to fulfil minimum eligibility criteria and the final seat allocation is done through TNEA Counselling. To get admission to MSc, students get selected based on their performance in the previous qualifying exam.
