Well, there is good scope in any field you wish to enter if it matches your interest, aptitude and long term career goals.
- After degree in Computer Science engineering you have two options :
1) You may opt for M.Tech if you wish to study the technical aspect of the branch .

Pursuing MBA abroad is always a good option, the main reason for seeking a MBA degree from abroad are:
- Getting a better quality of education.
- Improves career opportunities.
- Broaden international experience.
- Gaining exposure to different cultures.
However, please remember in order to pursue MBA from good universities in Canada you need to have atleast 2-3 years of full time work experience after graduation.

I think you need to be convinced instead of your parents :)
in my opinion your parents are right Btech will assure you a good future as compared to BBA. You won't get a better job after completion after your BBA as compared to Btech.
But if you are not interested in Btech and you are interested in BBA then go for it But remember after completion of your BBA you must do MBA for good job in other hand you can easily get a good job if you will do Btech.1 year means nothing if we are talking about career building.
Btech + MBA is more valuable then BBA + MBA
Rest depends on your talent and knowledge.

It is advisable to clear your backlogs from the same college and thereafter proceed with higher education. For the same, speak to the officials directly for right guidance.
And B.A English from scratch can take three years so be careful while taking an end decision.
