SAP Quality Management or Materials Management is best suited for a Mechanical person. You being an electrical graduate, should go for SAP BASIS or SAP ABAP. However, the latter is preferable since it offers more dignified opportunities.
With SAP ABAP programming language and the ABAP Workbench tools, one can develop own business applications or customize SAP standard software.
Also you'll learn how to utilize your knowledge directly as a junior consultant in your first period of practice (Development consultants who are responsible for the development and customizing of business applications in ABAP/ABAP Objects ).
SAP ABAP jobs available include application developer, delivery project manager and technical team leader. You should be able to designs, develops and supports application solutions with focus on SAP Netweaver - Advanced Business Application Programming.
