Parekh, i would give you both plus and minus about 2D animation. 2D animation as a learning is an excellent option, however, as a career it is on the downturn. So, next you would ask me, then why it is an excellent learning? Well, as a career it is going extinct and would be treated as an exotic art in times to come. already there is very rare 2D hollywood movie nowadays. Slowly all TV series are also turning 3D. With the power enjoyed by a 3D visualization ad the possibilities with a 3D animator, a 2D animator cannot match those. However, this has become possible only due to 2D artists switching to 3D alongwtih their 2D knowledge about animating. So they've brought in techniques learnt during 2D. Now, that becomes the main reaso0n to learn 2D. You can design the story, the characters, the direction (storyboard) and even the poses. That leaves very little scope for a CG animator to add more to the scene. I hope all this makes sense. However, learning 2D requires a lot of dedication and interest in sketching. You would spend a lot of night oil finishing your drawings even before you are allowed to attempt anything reasonable to be called animation.

Parekh, If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. If you mean BHM (Bachelor degree in Hotel Management) then in order to pursue this course you need to be 12th pass from any stream with good academic record preferably 50% plus in 12th with English as one of the subjects, plus you need to take entrance test conducted by various institutes.
