HI Souradeep,
I would say BULMIM is better because of the high reputation of Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan. We have foreign collaboration with an Austrian University, FHV. Excellent placement records. Also, it is centrally located. It would be the best return on investment.

No, it is not compulsory to appear for CAT, MAT, or GMAT to get admission into MBA programmes at Lovely Professional University. You can apply through LPUNEST, which serves as an entrance and scholarship test, followed by a personal interview. National-level exam scores such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, or GMAT are accepted as alternatives but are optional. Candidates must meet the minimum graduation percentage requirement to be eligible. A valid national test score may strengthen your profile and help with scholarships, but it is not mandatory. Always check the latest admission guidelines for the current session.

Many agencies have rated NSB very high on ROI. Please see Silicon India ranking for 2016. It says NSB is among top three in South India and among top 15 in India for ROI. Looking at average salary offered at NSB, I guess most students should be able to get back their investment in 1 year of joining job and by the way, placements I feel is good. No one is complaining about placements.
