Taking admission in M.Tech after clearing GATE is easy, and the GATE Score requirement generally depend on your category. If you are talking about general category, the GATE score should be above 55.

First important point for the candidates is - There is no age limit to appear for the exam. JEE Main 2019 exam would be conducted twice in a year. Thus, candidates can appear twice in the same year. The number of attempts for admission in a particular academic session will be treated as one. NTA will consider the best score of the two attempts. It is great to know your interest. In my opinion, you have two option. First, is go and start doing a course related to animation, if it is possible for you. And second, is do your job and continue learning in animation on a certain point of time, if it is comfortable leave your job and start doing something in animation field. Best of luck.
