Typically, candidates begin their application process by filling out an application for their selected colleges and universities. Candidates must meet the specified eligibility criteria, which often include the completion of a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum grade average. Entrance exams, such as the Common Admission Test (CAT), the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), or other state-specific admissions tests, are required by many institutions as part of their admission process. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in group discussions, written ability tests (WAT), or personal interviews. Selection for admission will be determined by candidates' scores on the entrance exams, academic records, relevant work experience, and performance during the interview process. Candidates who are selected for admission will receive admission offers and will need to confirm their enrollment in the program by paying the required fees. Admission into MBA programs is typically a competitive process but is relatively straightforward and emphasizes the candidate's aptitude as well as the candidate's personality to ensure the candidate is a good fit for the educational program.

Through initiatives like IRE Talks, AI Feast, and similar student-led industry initiatives sponsored by GIBS, students who may be shy and reserved start their journey toward becoming successful leaders through the development of confidence through an incremental, structured, and realistic exposure to the business world, creating their confidence and skills as individuals.

Instead of putting students in high-pressure situations as soon as they enter college, these types of events provide a comfortable and supportive environment in which students interact with leaders, company founders, and professors on a more informal but still meaningful level. Students are encouraged to step outside of their comfort zone through participation in panel discussions and listening to the entrepreneurial experiences of others, asking questions during Q&A sessions, and even hosting and/or moderating various segments of events. The experiential exposure gained from attending these events helps students develop communication skills, a clear thinking ability, and a professional presence, as shy students realise their opinions are valuable and performance requires effort and participation, rather than being perfect.

The experience of working behind the scenes on event planning, content preparation, and presenting with a group provides students with the tools they need to develop their organisational skills, experience working together as a team, and gain a sense of achievement for the roles they are responsible for filling. Almost as importantly, the new campus environment – with its collaborative area, mentorship from faculty members who are approachable, and regular interaction with representatives from various industries – facilitates these transformations by allowing students to learn in environments that are meaningful, relevant, and visible. With time, these shy students become confident communicators.

The updated infrastructure and services of the new campus increase its desirability as a learning center because of the following enhancements to learning, connectivity and events.

1. Modern Smart Classrooms.
The campus's classrooms are now larger, air-conditioned and equipped with a smart board and projector and other digital technology that enhance lectures by making them more interactive. This has improved student engagement and helps them learn more easily and efficiently than was possible in previous, less engaging classroom settings.

2. High-Speed, Campus-Wide Wi-Fi.
The campus now has reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the academic blocks, hostels, common areas and open spaces. These venues provide the same level of quality as the older venues did while providing more opportunities for greater participation.

The addition of labs dedicated to developing computer analytics and creativity, as well as new hands-on experience opportunities using actual software products, simulations, and live projects, enables faster development of student's theoretical knowledge into real-world applications compared with other facility labs of a similar calibre.

5. Enhanced Common and Recreational Areas
Landscaping and informal seating locations, in addition to fitness areas and student lounges provide an enhanced comfort factor for students while studying as well as in their downtime; ultimately leading to better interactions with classmates and assisting in building more cohesive study groups.
