NIIT University and ICICI Bank Ltd, Indias largest private sector Bank, have come together to launch MBA (Finance & Banking), a novel program that aims at creating business leaders of the future. The MOU was signed by the Managing Director and CEO of ICICI Bank, Chanda Kochhar and Mr Rajendra S Pawar, the Founder, NIIT University. The programme is expected to commence from April 2011.
NUs unique MBA has been extremely well-received by industry and graduating students are keenly awaited by recruiters. A number of reputed companies have already committed placement for all students of the Batch of 2010, subject to satisfactory graduation with consistent good conduct. A strong Placement function exists to build upon this initial demand, to use the industry-linkages to strengthen the program further, and to expand the pool of companies interested in offering internship and placement to NU students. A procedure to empanel companies has already commenced, and the current list of 20 empanelled companies (beyond the six who form the consortium that has committed 100% placement) is expected to expand to over 100 companies for the second and subsequent batches.

(a) The RHCE Certificate:
The RHCE certificate is designed to fit in a specific place within the computer industry spectrum of UNIX/Linux user levels.
The RHCE Certificate is granted upon passing the RHCE Exam, a performance-based test on live equipment that measures actual competencies at server system administration, setup of networking services, and network security, and diagnostics and troubleshooting. The RHCE Exam can be taken alone as RH302 RHCE Exam (1-day) or as the final day of the RH300 RHCE Rapid Track course (5-days). RH300 consists of 4 days of intensive training, emphasizing hands-on lab workshops with realistic configuration and administration tasks using Red Hat Enterprise Linux, plus the Certification Lab Exam on day 5.
(b) The RHCT Certificate:
The RHCT Certificate is granted upon passing the RHCT Exam, a performance-based test on live equipment that measures actual competencies at system administration, including installation and configuration of a Red Hat Enterprise Linux system and attaching it to a live network running network services.
