Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical Test (MPPMT) is entrance examination by Madhya Pradesh Pre-Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing, Test (MPPMT) for admission to MBBS/BDS B.Pharma/B.Sc (Nursing) course. It is conducted by Professional Examination Board, Madhya Predesh, Bhopal.
Educational Qualification :
* Candidates who have passed the 10+2 level exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English with at least 50% (40% for reserved category students) marks in aggregate are eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS Course.
* Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (10+2) may also apply.
You may sit for the exam if you fulfill the criteria mentioned above.

After degree in civil engineering you have two options :
1) You may opt for M.Tech if you wish to study the technical aspect of the branch .
2) You may pursue MBA if you wish to move your career towards management line.
You have another option with you, i.e.,
You may plan to work in private or public sector industries of various types. After gaining a valuable work experience of a year or two you may finally get a clear picture about your interest area, whether to go with the technical course (M.Tech) or management course (MBA).
So, in a nutshell, it's your decision to choose between the two lines. Think and decide wisely where do you wish to see yourself in future.

As a civil engineer, you may find employment as :
-Researcher
-Chief Engineer
-Division Head
-Independent Consultants
-Director of Public Works
-Project Manager
-Senior Engineer
-Supervisory Engineer

Salary :
Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.
But, still, to give you a brief idea,
-Civil Engineers employed in government departments get their initial income around Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 12,000 while superiors can earn about Rs 20,000.
-Lecturer / Professors in engineering colleges' incomes are fixed by UGC.
-Civil engineers working in private sector particularly in construction and designing field are getting more than Rs. 30,000 every month.
-With some experience one may go up to Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 every month.
-Consultancy in civil engineering is also highly remunerative depending upon number and nature of the clients.
