It is better to do B.Tech lateral. AMIE is good for people those are in jobs. But, not good for fresh Diploma engineer from job point of view, because most of the recruiters ask about the regular B.Tech degree.

It is Ontario, if you Map the Manufacturing sector of the Canada. Most of it is situated in the Ontario province. The main reason to it is, as this province is very near to the Michigan, USA therefore procurement of the parts will not take much of the time. If your interest is to study further such as Ph.D, then move on for Master's degree. If your intention is to get job, then move to post graduation Diploma, as Diploma have more practical knowledge, while in Master's degree, you will gain theoretical knowledge. So, it depends on you. My opinion would be to go for PG Diploma, go through job apply for PR, and once you get PR, move on to the Masters, as you will get PR, you will be completing your Master's degree with very less fees, as you would be Canadian citizen, so you will need to pay Canadian fees.
