Hons Agriculture includes 60% in 10+2/Intermediate with English Physics Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Forestry + LPU NEST or 60% in 10+2/Intermediate 10+2 (Agriculture) + LPU NEST or 60% in 2 year Diploma (Agriculture) after 10th + LPU NEST. 5% to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmir Migrants. Students are exposed to Commercial farms (100 acres) to know-how that create an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. They were also engaged in complete cultivation practice of seasonal crops for 6 months, wherein land preparation till harvesting and marketing of the final products will be done by student to expose farming experience. Profit earned by selling solely shared by students of a group. The highest numbers of PhDs as faculty members are enrolled in School of Agriculture faculty members throughout the LPU university. A new Programme in Computer Science & Engineering is proposed looking at the need of industry and the mission of the institute to develop high quality manpower. This will be a four year programme with the twin objective of:

It really depends on the level (graduate or undergraduate) and the subject you are applying for. Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, for example, is the most fought over subject and thousands of applications arrive each year from Germany and all over.
