instead of droping a year to study all subjects ,you should go for APPEARMENT EXAM for the specific subjects in which you failed to score good marks and Go for B.tec Mechanical which is already a very good decision for a bright future.
afterall there is no wise in droping a year to study everything again.
Gain knowledge about one of the best opportunity given to you by filling your appearment form and go ahead
good luck

Little confused about the question ! Are you asking Mumbai or Pune which is better place to do a degree in Animation ! If that is what you asked , it really does not matter which city between this 2 . but you must select a right course which covers all the contents required by Animation and VFX pipeline & right institute which has a good track record of completing the course in time , handing over certificates in right time & guide the students to generate quality output for their Demo reel . These are the basic points need to be taken care.

There is a criterion of 50% aggregate in PCM for general category and 45% aggregate for OBC and other categories. Also, it depends on your score and rank in the entrance exam. Cut-offs vary year by year.
Good luck.
