The choice of career depends upon your area of interest and the skills that you possess.
I would suggest you to explain and convince your parents about your interest abd the level of specialization that you wish to achieve.
Industrial Design is an upcoming career these days.
Industrial designers must be people who have the ability to constantly think critically in order to maximize efficiency of a production process.

Hi Jampani,
MBA is a holistic course which deals with management aspects, the major specialization in MBA are:
- Finance.
- Marketing.
- Human resources, etc.
However I would suggest you to work for 1-2 years after completing your B.Tech and then opt for MBA.The advantage of this step would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
