As shiksha is an education portal which believes in giving unbiased guidance it would be unfair on my part to give my personal opinion about a particular Institute. However, FGIET is an AICTE approved Institutes which is also Affiliated with UPTU, but as far as the placements are concerned, I would suggest you to visit the University to get the first hand information by talking to few of the current batch students and faculty members also take the alumnae contacts to talk to them and get the feedback on placements.
Apart from this I would completely agree with Ms. Upma, that the placements more than an Institute depends on the performance of an individual on the programme and how he uses the knowledge earned at the time of job interviews.

Although, NICE is providing several Diplomas, PG Diploma and Certificate programmes but no information is given about their minimum eligibility. However, as far as my knowledge goes, generally, most of such courses ask the student to have completed his 10+2. For the detailed information I would suggest you to contact the Institute directly. Moreover, I would also suggest youto complete your basic education that is 10+2 and then only plan for any vocational courses further.

Frankly speaking none of these are ranked in top 100 engineering college ranking and these are colleges from different areas so giving them a rank is actually difficult. However, you can consider CCET which is old and better options 2nd best could be BIT Jaipur.
I would like to add here that to have more in-depth information on all these institutes you should do a thorough research through various sources like their website and if possible try and visit the institutes and after all the research work do a self assessment of these Institutes. If possible try and talk to few of the students or alumnae of these Institutes. Few of the things you should keep in mind while assessing the Institutes are: First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, the infrastructure, facultys educational background, the placement, last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market.

Hi Piyush, SIM is an independent business school accredited by EduTrust Singapore which is mandatory accreditation for a private school in Singapore.
It offers degrees awarded by Australia, United Kingdom, United States and Switzerland. So in this regard I do not think it is like IIPM.
Although, I would recommend you to go for NAtional universities which are local govt universities but there are only 3 of these, NUS, NTU, SMU.
The rest are all private institutions or campuses of British and Australian universities.

Although, advisable would be that as you have chosen Engineering as your stream you should continue with that and pursue your career in that but if you have keen interest in Journalism you can go for short term courses in journalism as for short term courses generally there is no specific eligibility, such courses can be carried out after 10+2, few of the institutes with which you may consider are: R.
