Hi Pratap,
IELTS and TOEFL are the exams which need to be taken by all the international students whose first or native language is not English. So the student can take either TOEFL or IELTS.
Both IELTS and TOEFL have 4 sections namely:
*Reading
*Writing
*Speaking
*Listening
TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) is of 120 marks, and all the good universities require 80-90 plus score.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is of 9 bands, and all the good universities require 6.5-7 bands plus score.
GRE, is a test which need to be taken by all the students who wish to pursue MS course in US.It is of 1600 marks, and all the go

Well if you are trying to go for a short term course in Journalism, it becomes really difficult as the minimum courses would be of a year awarding a diploma after the completion but then you have not specified any time duration so that I could mention the options available. Hi Dongarahul,
Although, advisable would be that you join a coaching institute as Management Entrances are tough to crack, but if you are planning to do self study, for quant you should start preparing through your NCERT books from 9th till 12th which will help you strengthening your fundamentals. For Verbal ability I would say, you can purchase Wren and Marten & a good dictionary would to start your preparations. You should study good intermediate level text books on different subjects which will help you in Passage section of verbal ability. Read News paper regularly especially Editorial section of the newspaper, also read magazines a

As All the MBA specializations are open to students of all the streams accept Operations which is more popular among engineers you can go for any of the specializations. However, as you are also from engineering background you can opt for Operations or another good option could be Finance.
