Both have their different importance but in my opinion you might go for MBA from a reputed private college as they have much better placement records and exposure for students. Moreover reputed companies are coming in private institutions for recruiting students.

VIT, Vellore is a reputed institute for engineering which is known for its placement and dream offers.
CSE is a highly demanded course at VIT, Vellore. We have good faculty and for placements companies like Google, Microsoft, PayPal, Deloitte, Flipkart, Accenture, Yahoo would come for recruitment.
The dream offers are based on the skills of the student but you can easily get an average package of Rs 4 - Rs 6 lakh per annum.

The following are the top colleges in Tamil Nadu for instrumentation and control engineering:\
1) NIT Trichy
2) PSG College of Technology Coimbatore
3) Madras institute of technology
4) VIT University

However, NIT Trichy and PSG tech are the best for BE in instrumentation and control engineering.
