SCMHRD (Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development) offered various scholarships to eligible students. .

The selection process for admission to the MBA programs at SCMHRD (Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development) typically consisted of the following steps:

1. SNAP Test: The first step is to appear for the SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). SNAP is a national-level entrance test that assesses the candidate's aptitude in various areas like General English, Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness.

2. Shortlisting: Based on the SNAP test scores, SCMHRD shortlists candidates for the next rounds of the selection process. Shortlisted candidates are called for further evaluation.

3. Group Exercise (GE): The shortlisted candidates are invited to participate in a Group Exercise (GE). In this round, candidates are divided into groups and are given a specific topic or case study to discuss. The group's ability to work together, problem-solving skills, communication, and leadership qualities are assessed.

4. Writing Ability Test (WAT): After the Group Exercise, candidates are required to participate in the Writing Ability Test (WAT). Candidates are given a topic or situation to write about, and their written communication skills and ability to express their thoughts effectively are evaluated.

5. Personal Interaction (PI): The final step of the selection process is the Personal Interaction round. In this round, candidates have a face-to-face interview with a panel of interviewers. The interview assesses various aspects of the candidate, including their academic background, work experience (if any), extracurricular achievements, interpersonal skills, and motivation for pursuing an MBA at SCMHRD.

6. Final Merit List: After the completion of all the rounds, a final merit list is prepared based on the candidate's performance in SNAP, Group Exercise, Writing Ability Test, and Personal Interaction.

Students can avail PG Merit Scholarships:

Scholarship Policy of Symbiosis Society Foundation for MBA (IB), MBA (Agri Business, MBA (E&E)

Eligibility:

a. As per revised policy, the semester topper will be awarded scholarship based on academic excellence, a minimum GPA of 7.50.

b. Only those students will be eligible for the award of Merit Scholarship who have cleared the courses prescribed for the respective programme. i.e. they should not have any backlog.

c. The student who has been awarded merit scholarship by the University shall not be debarred from stipend or any financial assistance from any other source. However, if the student is awarded any stipend or financial assistance from any other source, he/she shall communicate the same through the Institute to the office of Student Affairs, SIU.

d. There will be no income limit of the parents/guardians of the students for the grant of merit scholarship.

e. In case a student is eligible for more than one scholarship/freeship by the University, he/she shall be awarded only one scholarship/freeship as per his/her preference.

f. Post Graduate (MBA International Business) Scholarship: 50% tuition fee waiver to a student who is a topper of the semester and secured a CGPA of 7.5 and above.
