The placement are ranging from an average of 4.5 to max of 9.6 lacs per anaum .
But frankly speaking there arent many companies regaring technical but if you wish to change to non technical then there are a lot of options and the packeges goes as high as 18-22 lacs p.a
The labs are very good and all the equipments are there in the campus. Biotech dept at thapar has a lot of funding and there wont be any complaint on the part of the equitments and intruments . if you want a list of all the equipment would be glad to provide it too.
The faculties are very good. Little strict but that is nessesary and there are all the PhD students that help

You should opt for Germany as education cost is cheaper in Germany as compared to Canada. You have more job opportunities there particular for mechanical engineering. You need to learn the German language for that. Though Canada is good for Masters but it's more costly as compared to Germany. Canada is preferred for CSE.

Obviously, most of the reputed universities abroad ask for students who have completed their studies in colleges or universities approved by AICTE and have NAAC grade A.
You have to consider this if you want to go in a good university further for MBA/MS.
If you are capable enough getting 85-90% from a college then it will work otherwise take a reputed college and score at least 75%, it will be more valuable.
