If you fulfill the criteria, then you are eligible for getting admission in IGNOU.
Candidate must satisfy the following eligibility requirements in order to be considered for admission to IGNOU Management programs
Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for general category/45% for reserved category as per Government of India rules, with 3 years managerial/ supervisory /professional experience.
Candidate must have cleared OPENMAT, conducted by IGNOU

NTA conducts the UGC NET twice in a year in a month of June and December. UGC NET follows the exam pattern as follows:
Paper is divided into two parts Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1: Paper is consisting of 100 marks for 50 questions. There is no negative marking. Paper 2: Paper is consisting of 200 marks for 100 questions. There is no negative marking. Below I am sharing some of the best books for UGC NET Commerce.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for UGC NET exam. But, as per the UGC guidelines, you have to complete your post-graduation within 3 years of time period, because if you qualify the exam and not qualified the exam within limited time, then in this case your certificate will be disqualified. You can also fill the UGC NET 2019 Application Form from the official website of NTA. Here are the steps to fill the online form -

Law is not a difficult subject, for a Science student as you already have an analytical mind. Secondly, I can tell you that studying law and understanding it is not very difficult. You can comprehend it easily. In starting it is a little challenging to practically apply law but it is fun also. I can say you should not doubt your caliber on people's judgements.
