Following are the criteria for admissions in TIET for CSE:
1. The candidate has to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject or Minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks in a Diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3-year duration. Has secured at least 72 aggregate marks (54 marks for SC/ST candidates) in JEE (Main)-2018. This clause shall not be applicable for the PGN, GoI, JKM, JK students & N-E students as mentioned at clause 1.3).
Or,
The candidate has to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 80% marks (75% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject. Has secured at least 54 aggregate marks (36 marks for SC/ST candidates) in JEE (Main)-2018. This clause shall not be applicable for the PGN, GoI, JKM, JK students & N-E students as mentioned at clause 1.3).

Career prospects and job opportunities:
ATM Engineers and technicians are hired by banks as well as firms manufacturing ATMs and its components. They may work as part time or full time employees in such work setups.
In firms manufacturing ATM machines and its components, ATM engineers and technicians may work in sections like design, assembly line, production and quality control.
In case of a bank job, they will have to take care of tasks like inspection, maintenance and repair of ATM machines and their components. Other than that, they will also have to travel to predetermined locations and install new machines (when asked by the bank). They are also known to carry out refilling (money) task of ATMs.
SALARY
Starting salary depends upon factors such as job profile, job location and profile of the employee. Depending upon the above mentioned factors, starting salary could be anywhere between 7-15K Rupees per month.
