I can tell that B.Ed is required when you are thinking of teaching in schools. However, for teaching in colleges you require a minimum post-graduation in the subject and preferably M.Phil or Ph.D. So, my advice to you would be to take up post-graduation in your field of studies and after completion take up a job in a college and then simultaneously attempt your doctorate.
