If you only want to pursue a degree in B.Com, then 50% will be fine but if you want to go for reputed colleges and universities and if you also want to participate in competitive examination then atleast 60% will be fine. But, it's your turn. So, try to get as much marks as you can.

In Canada, 4 years degree is acceptable so for this if you want to apply for Canada you will have to first do a Diploma there then you are eligible to do further studies. Good luck.

It is not necessary to stay in any of the college or university's hosyel if you can attend class regularly & appear in practical as it is a practical based subject hence it will be good for you that you must stay near or in campus there, as there is no timing fixed for hospitality subjects.
