Most of the institutes do not have an entrance test for Distance Learning Admissions. Government colleges affiliated with Central government don't directly give admission without JEE Main. Some state governments conduct their own entrance exam for admissions and some also give admissions on college level counselling on the basis of 12th marks. Madhya Pradesh government colleges for example. So this is the only way if you want to opt for a good college then Apply with JEE Main.
