Don't worry PGDM is equivalent to MBA.see PGDM is an AICTE approved course.it is autonomous program.Any AICTE approved institute is authorised to give PGDM degree.On the other hand only UGC recognized university can offer MBA program.PGDM is much advanced course and the content keeps changing as per industrial requirements.The course content of MBA is an old one.In PGDM you can opt for more than 1 specialisation while you can opt for only one specialization if yo go for MBA.Industries prefer PGDm these days.Even IIM offers PGDM.Go for PGDM,it is better choice.Hope all your doubts are clear,if you still have any doubt,let me know.I will clarify the same
