New campus at Sri City is spread cross 40 acres near Tamil Nadu-Andhra Pradesh border. It will have state of the art facilities with a library which is a repository for all World Bank, GATT and UN publications. It provides access to info-rich databases like EBSCO, JSTOR, Science Direct and is home to 170 national journals and 65 international journals. The new campus will also have a gym and a big ground for sports activities, Wi-Fi campus with high bandwidth broadband connectivity. A recently opened, unique facility is a world class trading floor, set up in collaboration with NCDEX Institute of Commodity Markets and Research (NICR). Lecture halls in IFMR are air-conditioned and equipped with audio-visual aids and internet connectivity. Genuine software packages like Reuters, Financial Trading System (FTS), Barra on Campus (containing Aegis and Cosmos), Prowess, Capitalline, eViews, Statistica, Gauss Optimization software, MATLAB simulation package and project management software are available for use by students.
Old Campus will not be shifted to Sri City and the highest package offered last year was Rs 12 lakh and average being Rs 7.25 lakh.

Generally, candidates join lateral B.Tech course after completing diploma in any engineering field to get direct entry into the second year. Degree course will open more opportunities for you.
* Eligibility Criteria :
You need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.

There are several eligibility criteria's that have to be considered while considering an Executive MBA course.
To pursue Executive MBA one needs to have at least 2-5 years of work experience and a bachelor's degree from recognized university.
There are some colleges that insist on aspiring students having a post graduate degree too as a criterion.

BITSAT is very different from JEE. BITSAT mainly focuses on your concepts from NCERT. Very few questions are out of some concepts not present in NCERT. But like all other exams BITSAT also has some things unique to it, like the English and Logical Reasoning section which is not present in any other exam. You need to get familiar with the pattern. Solving mock tests greatly helps in understanding the pattern and types of questions and adapting to them.
Check out the previous year cut-offs in BITSAT. Generally, its around 320+ for a single degree B.E.(Hons.) degree in Pilani. It may be a bit lower in the other two campuses. Try achieving a target of 320-330+ in your exam. I would recommend at least 1 mock test each day till your exam. That would be enough.
Along with this, I would recommend preparing for Verbal/Logical ability section. It is 1/6th portion of the whole paper. So, do prepare it properly. It is generally very easy and you can easily score some marks here with not a lot of hard work. This section also helps in improving your overall time in the paper.
Also, I would recommend going for the extra 12 questions. BITSAT is probably the only examination in the world where you can score more than 100%. (highest potential score is 486/450).
But be careful! You only get to attempt those extra questions if and only if you have attempted all 150. Only go for the extra ones if you have already attempted more than 135-140. Attempt the remaining 10-15 questions to unlock those elite 12. (It is rumored, that these 12 are easy, worked for me).
