In fact, I believe SAP has a lot of value in business. If you're good ATIT you can land very good job offers after an initial struggle of 34years. However the SAP landscape is quickly changing so you need to be up to date with the latest in SAP. If you want to go into technical, you should learn one of S/4 Hana, Abap on Hana, SAP Hana Cloud Platform, UI 5, Data or SAP Hana live (for business warehousing) apart from basic ABAP. The prospects are great after an initial learning period, however what nobody tells you is that you will mainly be stuck in the service industry only with SAP. Big shots like Google, Microsoft, Adobe use their own databases nor is SAP employed by startups like Uber, Flipkart, etc. The initial few years you won't be able to switch your company as nobody hires SAP folks without a good knowledge Base and 24 years experience. As the SAP market saturates it becomes a little more difficult. There are smaller higher paying companies like if you don't want to be in the usual Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant league, like Tietos and Itelligens too but then expect the working hours to be, well, not defined. So yes, scope wise SAP experience carries a lot of value and after a few years you will rake in the money to compensate for everything especially if you go abroad. But only do it if you are okay with being in the service industry and if you have the patience and learning desire to stay with it for 34 years in the same company before you start seeing results.

The minimum percentile is dependent on the category one belongs to. The first shortlisting is done roughly on the basis of category for all the students. The academic diversity helps one while calculating the composite score at the end of second round. The composite score is calculated for everyone with extra points for non engineering students. For IIM Lucknow, 5 point weight is given for non engineers this year and for Amritsar, Kashipur and Sirmaur, it is somewhat similar. So if you are a non engineer and you clear the cutoff, you will get a good edge over that engineer with similar profile. But there is not much difference in the cutoff based on academic diversity.
