There are as many choices as you desire. You can join B.A. In any subject, B.Com B.Sc. Etc. You can also think of joining A.M.E. But firstly please meditate, think, discuss with friends and family. Which subject fascinates you? Which stream of studies interests you the most? My sincere advise would be to go for the subject that fascinates you the most. You will not even feel the workload of studying the subject. Best wishes to you.

Both are good courses and have wide scope. However, mass communication is a wide subject that not only covers the topic of filmmaking but even more than that. Filmmaking has just a limited reach to direction, production, etc. Mass communication covers each and every aspect. If you only want to get a proficiency in film making and looking forward to make it your career than go for it. But if you want to cover all other major fields like journalism, photography, public relations, etc. then go for mass communication.
