If you mean full time MBA or PGDM program then please remember in order to pursue this program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
The selection process in B-schools generally consists of :
1. Past Academic record.
2. Scores in entrance tests.
3. Group Discussion.
4. Personal Interview.
5. Work experience.
Please note that each B-schools shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other.
The process may include
1. Written Test.
2. Group Discussions.
3. Personal Interviews.
Performance in various management entrance tests is an important component in the admission process.
B-schools may use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process.

If you mean BHM (Bachelor in Hotel Management) then in order to pursue this course through correspondence you need to be 12th pass from any stream.

Probably you are trying to know about a branch which has the scariest name. 'Mining'. But keeping such preconceived notions apart, Mining Engineering is certainly a branch of uniqueness, immense scope and versatility. Mining is not about getting in the mines and digging out things.
