Veterinary Science is the science of diagnosing, treating and curing the diverse types of diseases in birds and animals. The subject broadly covers the study of animal physiology, treatment and prevention of diseases among animals. Besides giving treatment, Vets perform surgery, prevent spreading of diseases in animals by administering timely vaccination and medicines and give advice on care of pets and farm animals. Their activities may also include Animal husbandry- animal breed improvement by 'selection breeding' and artificial insemination, animal research in order to control spread of diseases transmitted through animals; thus protecting the public from exposure to diseases carried by animals, wildlife conservation, poultry management and health care, livestock insurance and rural development. They take up practice exclusively of either large animals such as cattle including horses, pigs, sheep; poultry etc or small animals mainly household pets including dogs, cats, birds etc. or both. The approach in treatment vary according to different animals. The vets must be familiar with the many breeds of pets or livestock and the characteristics of each so that they can recommend diets, exercise regiments and treatment, specific to the breed.
The scope for veterinarians in the future is bright. As keeping pets is becoming a fad now, the demand for private veterinary clinics is on the rise in metropolitan cities. And similarly, there has been an unprecedented growth in the poultry sector and animal products' technology sector, resulting.
Eligibility :To practice as a veterinarian it is essential to have a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc.). To be eligible for the Bachelor's in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & AH) course, a candidate should have passed the class 12 examination with science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Admission to most veterinary colleges is on the basis of results obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the concerned universities. Veterinary Council of India conducts an 'All India Common Entrance examination' (AICEE) for admission to first year Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) & Animal Husbandry (AH) degree course. This Entrance exam is usually held in the month of May each year.

After completion of a course in astrophysics, candidates can find job opportunities as research scientist in different government-run research institutions and organizations engaged in research activities in the field of Astrophysics. During the initial stages of employment candidates can expect a pay scale of around Rs.5000-7500 in government organizations, after which they can get better pay scale and better positions as they gain experience in the field of astrophysics. Experienced research fellows are appointed by government organizations, they are paid a very good pay scale, and therefore, astrophysics is a field that can offer a lucrative career with higher pay scales to the deserving candidates.
Initially, freshers can earn a salary of Rs. 10000-12000 per month. Government bodies and research institutes employ astronomers with high salary package and other allowances. Many globally reputed institutions like NASA offer high package for talented students.

3. You must have strong analytic skills, good interpersonal skills and a keen understanding of the basic principles in order to successfully settle as a Lawyer.

5. You can join either the Bar Council of India or a local or state bar council by submitting an application.

Lawyers can find employment opportunities in public and private sector organizations. Most Lawyers prefer to become an advocate and practice law as a profession. For that they have to enroll with the Local/State/Central Bar Council. Central/State Government jobs are also open to Lawyers. They can be appointed as Judges of various courts, as Attorney and Solicitor General, as Public Prosecutor and also in Defense, Tax and Labour departments. Moreover Lawyer can also work as legal counsel and legal advisers for firms, organizations and families. They also can be appointed as Company Secretaries in various firms.
They also can work with legal consultancy firms dealing with tax, excise, patent, labour and environmental laws. They also can work as trustees of various trusts, law reporters in media industries. Besides Lawyers have also ample career options in Law schools and collages as a teacher/professor. In addition to this Lawyers also can join politics because they have large public contacts. I doubt anyone can answer that question. Admission is dependent on a lot of factors and not just on a single score. To begin with you will be shortlisted on your CAT score. Then we will call you for WAT and PI. Then we will accumulate your CAT, WAT, PI and profile scores and create a composite score. Then we will release the final lists. So it purely depends on the competition. Go through the minimum criteria. And do your best i all the areas. This holds good for any college and I doubt you can come across one single score that will get you admission anywhere. You will have to do well across all the criteria.
