Hi Dinesh,to become a CA opt the commerce field and choose Economics,Statistics and Maths as the complementary courses.You can take the science stream also.But lot of students from science stream are having problem with accountancy.After attempting your 12th exam attend CPT exam which covers the following 4 papers
FUNDAMENTALS OF ACCOUNTING
MERCANTILE LAW
GENERAL ECONOMICS
QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE-which consist of maths and statistics

Hi Imtiaz,
All students from the ICSE/CBSE board are eligible for writing the IIT/JEE and All India entrance examination for engineering /MBBS and dental provided they have the subject combination necessary for attempting these exams i.e, Physics, Chemistry, Maths for Engineering and Physics, Chemistry and Biology for MBBS/BDS.
Moreover, both the boards are good at their respective levels. Hence, the ball lies on your court.

I doubt anyone can answer that question. Admission is dependent on a lot of factors and not just on a single score. To begin with you will be shortlisted on your CAT score. Then we will call you for WAT and PI. Then we will accumulate your CAT, WAT, PI and profile scores and create a composite score. Then we will release the final lists. So it purely depends on the competition. Go through the minimum criteria. And do your best i all the areas. This holds good for any college and I doubt you can come across one single score that will get you admission anywhere. You will have to do well across all the criteria.

In order to prepare for Mass comm entrance exam, I would suggest you to read a lot of news papers and go through books that are based on current affairs and also you need to mug the punch lines of famous brands, media channels and newspapers and also practice writing few debates or articles on current affairs.
