Mechanical in Manipal main campus is quite good. We have all the facilities, from well equipped labs and workshops to a number of opportunities. There are a number of projects that students do in the college and one can be a part of it and learn a number of practical things.
As far as the trend or which branch is better, to be frank there's nothing like that. Every branch is unique in it's own way. Be it mechanical, CSE, biotechnology or be it ECE. Dear Richu, in order to get a successful visa entry in Canada - your course selection should be in relation to your background studies. Since you have completed an MBA, you should not apply for a PG Diploma course or should have a strong reason for it. Lastly you would require an IELTS/TOEFL for getting admission in Canada.

Yes, there are many graduates from overseas universities who get jobs in India. However it is not necessary that a company in India will have to recognize that foreign degree and pay you accordingly when they feel it sufficient to have your competitor with an Indian degree itself.
