You need a PhD degree to become a Professor in India. Along with this, other requirements must also be fulfilled, for example -
- Getting good marks in your PG degree
- Qualifying for NET/ GATE/ SET exams
After this, you can apply for an Assistant Professor or Teaching Assistant job in a college or university. Build your portfolio, public papers, and do research work.

The cut off for CSE at SSN will be as high as 198 for general category. Since there are caste based reservations, the cut off will vary based on caste. For SC, ST the cut off will be the least.
