NATA can be given on any working day from 20th March 2013 onward, until 31 August 2013, at the designated Test Centres.
However candidates are advised to appear for NATA, at least six working days prior to the cut off date for applying for admission to the colleges of their preference in respective states.

The Certificates of the National Institute of Open Schooling NIOS is as recognized as any other certificates given by any of the recognized Board. The Government of India has given the authority to conduct Public Examinations at Secondary and Sr. Secondary level. Hence, National Institute of Open Schooling NIOS, act as any another National Board.
Candidate obtaining a certificate from NIOS, are eligible to take admission in most of the Colleges and Universities, given, one must fulfill the other eligibility criteria required for the admission.
