The part-time MBA programme is ideally suited for working executives who do not have the time to attend the full-time MBA programme. This gives working students an opportunity to enhance their educational qualification and professional knowledge. Part-time MBA programs are generally for three years and the classes are conducted in the evenings. In most cases, there is no placement facility because this course caters to employed students. A two-year work experience is a pre-requisite for most part-time MBA courses. Part-time MBA programs have the same specialisation opportunities as other MBA programme variants like the full-time course but some offer only a small number of concentrated study courses and emphasize the core curriculum. On the other hand, the distance MBA course has a connection between the student and the university. The student does all the work sitting in a distant location.
