As per the ICSI CS Professional marking scheme each question is given equal marks. Candidates will be given partial marks for every correct answer. There is no negative marking for any wrong answer or not attempted question. As per the CS Professional marking scheme, the total marks for each paper is 100 marks.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 15057 and closing rank was 19869. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 22580 and 31583. Admission to BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at NIT Hamirpur - National Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The cutoff trend for BTech at NIT Hamirpur - National Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Chemical Engineering at IIT Kanpur other than General category are - 2034 for OBC, 1281 for SC, 678 for ST, 762 for EWS.
