If a student fails an internal exam, they are usually given an opportunity to reappear for the exam. The college may conduct a supplementary or retest for the failed internal exam, allowing the student to improve their performance and achieve a passing grade.
1st part: If you are in First Year then you may asked for retest.

2nd part: (if you are senior) There are two internal exams in a semester. The teacher will tell you to score good marks in the next internal.

-Dont get overstressed if you missed it. As per as mark is concerned it depends on college you are studying and department whether they will give you marks or not.Sometimes good conduct to specific teachers can fetch you marks.If you have a valid reason then write a letter to the Hod sir with prove, he will definitely help you.Though internal exams are matter of attendance in most of the cases!
