Hello Deepak,
You have to appear in LEET exam for getting admission in state college for B.Tech lateral entry. But if you want to take admission in private college then many colleges take their own exam and some college take direct admission.

I would suggest you go for a short term course first and then decide whether it interests you or not. The best thing would be not leaving engineering in a jiffy as changing careers can sometimes lead to a bad choice.

B.Sc veterinary science cutoffs last year for BC-B category closed within 7000, so unless there is a drastic drop in the number of applicants, the cut offs should remain the same in 2017, relative to last year.

IITs have the toughest eligibility criteria for admission in B.Tech.
The eligibility criteria is as follows: " The candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards". If you can achieve this criteria and crack engineering entrance examination then you can get admission in any Government college for engineering.
