For admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at SASTRA Deemed-to-be University, it is a mandatory requirement to have an IPE score to check in at sastra. As per the research that I've done, with your score, it could be a little difficult to get CSE. If you are college specific you can try for other branches.
  • Minimum criteria for Stream 1: IPE + JEE - 975 above IPE and 35,000 below JEE rank
  • Stream 2: 985 above IPE score.

Analysing the previous year data, for 96 percentile, your All India Rank will be 27000 to 34000 approximately. With this rank you have low chances of getting into the top NITs. Don't worry, you can try some medium to lower NITs, and also get many good private colleges with this percentile.
