For being eligible to apply for MCA, you have to have mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or statistics as one of the subjects at graduation level. If you fulfill these criteria you are eligible for MCA.
As far as other information regarding MCA is concerned, we would like to state that most of the entrance tests are conducted in April or May. Notifications are out in January or February. The combined MCA entrance tests held in India are: NIMCET for NITs, CET Maharashtra for Maharashtra colleges, UPMCAT for most colleges in UP, Andhra Pradesh CET for Colleges in AP,Orissa State MCA Test for all Colleges in Orissa, MET for All college under Punjabi Univ. GNDU, & PTU in Punjab, MP-Pre MCA Test for all colleges in MP, Kerala MCA Test for all colleges in Kerala.

There is no cut off percentage as such. To be eligible to apply for BIMM, you need to appear in one of the entrance exams. But anything above 75%ile should be safe. It is to be noted that only 30% weightage is given to your entrance scores, Rest depends on how you perform in your GD PI. I'll suggest you to read a lot of general knowledge stuff relating to the present political and business environment of our country to prepare for your GD and PI.
To add more to it, No GD PI of any institute is tough if you are well prepared for it. One suggestion, Start reading Economic times everyday and i am sure you'll perform well n your GD PI's whenever they are held. All the best.

Shreedhar, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with other MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even VFX/ Animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain.
