It's very nice to know your passion for studying further and not stopping at merely MBA. It's a post graduation and hence you have the option to go for Ph.D in management. It also depends whether you want to pursue full-time or part-time Ph.D. Also, at what point in time you want to start a job. But practically, I would recommend that you should go in the direction of your fascination.

TIFR also has an entrance exam for Ph.D. You can try out UGC NET exam for JRF (junior research fellowship) it increases your chances of getting Ph.D for a specific subject (i.e. the specialisation you are looking for).

According to your aggregate percentage in Mathematics hons. It is very difficult for you to get admission in IISER, as you are not eligible for admission in IISER. So try for another option. All the best.
