Hello Abhishek, Both the branches are quite good as far as placements are concerned. Electrical engineering perhaps can be called the original branch and electrical and electronic engineering can be called as sub branch. As time progresses many changes take place in all the fields of life. So also is the case with industry. Hear too things change. As a result electrical branch gave birth to electrical and electronic engineering branch. My personal advice to you would be to choose what you like & what you feel fascinated with. Hello Aashi, Chemical engineering in today's world is the branch which attracts lot of employers. Many companies come for placement of students who are completing their chemical engineering. If you just pause and think you're find that in your life from the time we get up to the time we sleep is filled with handling different Chemicals throughout the day, may be in the different forms but Chemicals all the same and of course chemical engineer, who has worked in the factory making use of these chemicals in the products that we are using. Hence, I would advise you not to worry at all about placements and concentrate only on understanding the subjects that are being taught to you in the college.
